We will honor Shalom Press as our Chatan Torah, and Gert Bacol as our Kallah B'reishit, at our Simchat Torah morning service. Both are “regulars” at Shabbat services and members of families with multiple generations of strong commitment to Zionism and the State of Israel. Shalom, a long-time physician in Greater Buffalo, has quietly strengthened our congregation’s ties with Israel. rah Kiddush lunch will be held at the conclusion of services on Friday, October 25th. Everyone is invited to attend the morning service, participate in the festive activities, and partake of the Kiddush lunch. Those who would like to sponsor or make a donation for the Kiddush lunch should contact the synagogue office.
